As a nurse, you might be surprised to discover that the most important tool is the pen. And if you have ever worked in a hospital, you will soon find out these are protected like they are gold! Although this may be changing with the advancement of technology and integration of computerised systems, it will be some time before this is the widespread norm.
I have various tools of the trade I use and treasure in my integrative medicine practice. My personal go-to on the daily is my penji. I involve her in everything. She chose me at a quirky shop in Brissy over a decade ago and I’ve loved having her in my life. Penji helps with making decisions in any way I ask, whether it’s simply about what food to eat or significantly about big choices in life trajectory. Last year, I asked Penji if I would be living in Roma for 12 months and she said no. Now, thankfully I have developed such a deep level of trust in her that any response doesn’t rock my boat. I know I don’t have the big picture and I trust that everything happens for my highest good. So, not knowing the reasons and whys sits ok with me – it’s been a development in acceptance and discernment. So when I was told at Christmas that I would be relocating to Mungindi, I was not surprised but had a little sly smile as a nod to my penji’s wisdom and ability to see the unseen and know the unknown.
I ask for Penji’s assistance with any clients I work with, whether on my table or on the screen. And they are always blown away by how on the money the guidance is. She is fundamental in my delivery of service without attachment to what is and outcomes are what they will be.

Other tools I’ve been called to remember the gifts of are Runes and Tarot. These are the original divination tools of which oracle cards have become a readily embraced version. Runes are linked back to my Celtic roots and even further back to the Nordic (Vikings). A stone with a symbol to provide a reflection to explore.
The Tarot is more involved and although I’m not one to visit clairvoyants for future guidance (I think these readings can influence our connection with our own ‘PGS’ personal guidance system – our intuition), I enjoy the practice of choosing a card and seeing its message and insight for reflection. I may or may not do anything further. Rich with symbolism, mythology, numerology, and Astrology, together they weave an intricate story able to gently guide us on our journeys.
And it so happens today as I share these sacred tools and how I use them in my life and work, on the Equinox charged with new moon energy, the Magician card came through “entranced by his co-creation… harnessing the power of the elements with the skill of a masterful alchemist…”
HAHAHAHA! Don't you just love the universe's timing and humour??

I manifest the life I desire through energy and intention
Those who have shared yoga and meditation would most likely have heard my singing bowl, and then there are my beloved essential oils for anyone close enough for me to anoint 😘 or even just to breathe in the oil-infused atmosphere… all of these are some of the tools of my trade that comprise the alchemy of my work. The unique creation of service – supporting and facilitating your inner transformation.
The ancient art of Alchemy was the search for spirit in matter. Historically thought to be the turning of lead into gold, this is a wizardy trick with the metaphor that throws the non-committed off the scent. In modern life, it is a way of deepening your own relationship with the sacred dimension of life. Alchemy’s greatest achievement is to create a relationship between our inner world and our outer world.
While physical alchemy deals with altering and transforming the properties in the physical world, even finding how to recover from dis-ease; spiritual alchemy is connected with freeing your spiritual self from your fears, limiting belief systems, and lack of self-acceptance.
Alchemy is the art of transformation, inner liberation, and change. Alchemist is way deeper than physical – it’s the secret science (which doesn’t need to be secret by the way – it was forced into secrecy by the men afraid of losing their power and control) of inner liberation from altering the perceived limitations of humanness and recognising the limitlessness of the spiritual.
And that’s what I’m here to help with.
Awakening the remembering of who you really are – so you can embody your divine self and share the sacred expression of You.
